Skip the Contour
I have a Contour and 2 GoPro's.
Contour Thinks I like: Form Factor- you don't look like a goob wearing one 1 big sliding button- it's either on or off- easy to tell Things I hate: Microphone sucks- you will NEVER have anything but wind noise - The mounts and accessories are RIDICULOUSLY expensive the camera is really only made to mount to a helmet Picture quality/video quality is less sharp than the go pro GoPro Things I like: Accessories are cheap They mount anywhere easily Microphone works picuture quality is excellent Things I hate: it sticks out like a sore thumb on a helmet, but blends in everywhere else |

Check out the V.I.O 1.5 P.O.V although a little more Expensive small bullet cam various mounting options I've had mine for a couple of years helmet side mounted they have a cable comes out the back & connects to the recording unit that you keep inside your jacket enabling in the field playback also if it gets ripped off its still connected to the unit so you Dont lose it also the Mic is on the cable which sits inside your jacket NO Wind noise my next 1 will be their HD version
