Heat Shield Clamp
I'm looking for hose clamps w/ an attachment point/nut to use holding on a self made heat shield. Something like the ones shown here:
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...at-Shield.aspx All I want is the clamps - anyone got a source?

Use these type of nuts with a standard large hose clamp that can wrap around the exhaust can.
http://www.dormanproducts.com/catalo...ec20_Part5.pdf Go to the 8th line down and you can see what I'm talking about, you can get them at Lowes or HD in the hardware dept, You can slide the tab of the nut under the hose clamp to hold it then you can make your own heat shield up and mount it with matching sized bolts or screws. Length of bolt or screw is critical. Ron W.
