Oh, a strom again ... I like it, it's actually a year older, but a bit fewer miles and in a bit better shape overall, and I had payments on the other one, and I don't anymore, so I guess I'm ahead

Not to worry, you're not eligible not wear one. But, that's not to say you can't volunteer for the opportunity to try one on. Personally, I think the look would suit you.

You'll be getting a pm soon.

Double Take Mirrors and Dual-Sport Riding

Doubletake Mirror and Dual Sport Riding are both companies started and run by inmate Neduro (yes the Dakar Neduro) and Ned has given us a set of Doubletake Mirrors and a DVD of his Advanced Dual-Sport Riding Techniques Video for the Westfest Raffle!

Doubletake Mirrors are designed to work on just about any bike and provided a huge advantage over conventional mirrors by being very adjustable, ultra durable, and also not breaking or bending the clutch or break master cylinders if you drop the bike. The Mirrors work great on dirt bikes or big adventure bikes. Doubletake ADV Vendor Thread HERE

Ned also has taken his vast moto experience and compiled it in his Dual-Sport DVD instruction series that teaches riders the skills necessary to travel safely over any terrain on any bike. This is a great series for any rider, regardless if they want to learn new skills, hone existing skills or just enjoy a great motorcycle DVD DVD Vendor Thread HERE

Big thanks to Ned for helping out with the raffle, I hope you can make it!

Kriega Sponsoring WF

Britkit is the US distributor for Kriega Motorcycle Luggage and Backpacks and has stepped up HUGE and sent some great stuff for the Westfest Raffle. Kriega makes not only luggage systems for just about any kind of motorcycle riding need, but they also have an amazing line of backpacks and hydration packs. All their products are made by motorcycle riders and after seeing the stuff I just got in, I can tell they take a lot of pride in what they are making. It is really, really nice stuff

Michael was great to deal with and is active on ADVrider and his vendor thread is HERE. For the raffle we got hooked up with:

Kriega Hydro-3:

Kriega Waistpack R8:

Kriega Stash Organizer and Tool Roll:

Kriega Fork Seal Covers:

Thanks to Michael for going out of the way to give us some really cool stuff

Wow Ben . . .

With all the great items the sponsors are putting up for the event, sounds like you may need to borrow the truck (or at least the Suburban) to haul it all down there. Let me know . . .

I guess I'd like to say a big THANKS!! to all those vendors who have been gracious enough to donate their products in support of this event. That's great!!

You are more than welcome, Ben.

I was an Inmate (and Kriega user) long before I became Kriega's man in the US and still geek out massively in various groups, so I'm always more than happy to give back to the community.

And thanks for your kind words about the gear. It is pretty nice, isn't it!?

Have a blast up West. Wish I could join you, but I won't be in the country at that time.

All the best,

Michael
