Butyl rubber tape. I got some at the local NAPA for about $20 after my Escape headlight started leaking. If you heat it up to around 200 degrees it is a lot easier to reassemble the headlight.

Depending how old your bike/car is a lot of people claim they can re use what is already there - just heat to take it apart and again to assemble.
Lots of old Hondas, 2 Yamahas, 2 Kawi's.
