Do you mean the Z50 clone?
This one? http://wholesale-cycle.com/product/2...-Z-125-SILVER/ I liked the CT70 clone so much I ordered a Z50 too. I got a call today that it's at the local freight depot. I have to schedule a time for delivery on Friday. We have a foot of snow here now, but I can give you initial impressions in a few days.

It was cold and I was sick, so I didn't take a lot of pics. Just unboxed the bike, did a quickie assembly and rolled it into the garage. Neat little bike.
![]() It came as well packed as the Dax. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I like the big tank ! Did you buy 2? How did it/they do in the desert?
Did you have to make any mods or quick fixes to get things running right? For riding on the street, I'd like to drill a hole for a cotter pin in the front & rear axles and replace the nuts w/ castle nuts. If you use the IMG code option in photobucket, your pics will show-up within your post.

Mini
I could plate it and planed to, but I have been riding around this little town I live in and so far no hassles by the man. I will play dumb and get a plate if I'm pulled over. I rode it down the strip in Las Vegas yesterday get lots of strange looks also a lot of thumbs up. Great little bike, had to tighten the chain, motor mount bolts were loose other than that nothing. They go great in the dez just had to lower the tire pressure to about 20lbs had them at 30lbs great on the street sucked in the sand.
I didn't know you could have this much fun for $1100. I love my 990 Ktm but this little thing is just plain fun.

I'm going to plate mine. It came w/ notarized bill of sale and a cert of origin that says "Motorcycle" not "Off Road Only" and it's on the EPA approved list.

![]() 400 mi update needs better chain, I ordered one a DID for $19, motor bolts got loose it started shifting bad jumping out of gear ect found shifting star was loose easy fix and good to go. It likes 10/40 Dino oil no fancy stuff. I'm getting about 79mpg in the riding I do that is 80% dirt. That is about it, a great little bike for $1100 and the foot peg mount is soft for a 230lb rider small jump bends them. I know I shouldn't be jumping it but the suspension is really that good. Just saying.

got a question for you is the tranny 1,n,2,3,4 slipping out of gear is a really common problem with those engines I had 2 do this on me but if its a n,1,2,3,4 then could of just been a loose shift start like you say although my ct70 does have a 140cc engine almost everything else on my bike is stock, and I try my best to keep it that way that means rough riding, bad brakes, bad lighting but for a 1970 with 81,000 miles on it I would love to see a clone that old with that many miles still holding up to time |

Mine's N, 1, 2, 3, 4. I've got a few China-engine-powered bikes and mine all have the same shift pattern.
I don't think they're Honda quality. I'd say they're somewhere between 1/2--2/3 Honda quality, but at 1/3 the price. Part of the appeal is the cheapness lol. These bikes are a lot of fun for the money. Not all Japanese bikes are golden. I had a Honda XL250 that blew out a stator every 500 miles at $175 a pop and I've got a 1981 Suzuki 450 that's gone thru a couple CDIs. (They're $400+ new). A stator for these Chinese bikes is about $30. CDI's cost $5-$10. Carbs are $30-$50. A brand new motor with carb/cables/levers/etc is $300. Parts for RC cars are more expensive.

Mine is 1n234 and mine was a loose shifting star it shifts great now that I tightened it, I changed the foot pegs and mount, chain. That's it, 500 mi runs shifts great. Rides along at 50mph with me on it I'm 230lbs.
