Love it. This would be my around town or canyon bike if they built it.... Would love to have the wasserboxer so I can do the clutch easily and stuff like that.

Looks good! I have a ton of Touratech stuff on my G650X. They don't list anything for the R1200ST, but I'm guessing most R1200R & R1200RT stuff should work?

Just found this thread, showing a little R1150R love :)
Hi all, this has been my first BMW bike, and I have loved it for the most part. My friend on the right(1200GT) and I were at Buffalo River Canyon in Arkansas, we'd been riding south from Siloam Springs down to Hot Springs, nice ride, though lots of log trucks and loose dogs, lol. The only thing I wish was better on this bike was a magic windshield...I've tried a few and still can't defeat the helmet buffeting...thinking of just putting the Sport back on it and calling it even, lol.
Hey, if anyone has figured out some sort of skidplate that will fit on one of these, please let me know. I'm about to put some thick metal lathe under there in prep. for a long trip, just don't like that oil filter being naked, thanks.

I have a stock R1200GS skidplate on my R1200R - fits with no mods. I'd look into whether the plate from a 1150 GS will mount up. I'd guess it would, but don't know enough about that gen to do much other than guess.

Thanks. I've seen a couple of threads referring to something like that, but never really any corroboration or images, lol. Will continue to look.

Depending how much protection you want there is this option.

Wind Shield
I have a 2001 R1100R Classic and I am looking for a smallish wind screen. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Does anyone know the size of the bolts that are used to mount the luggage rack to the bike?
