Yes. I leave it on, It keeps me from getting too stoopid.

Button on the left grip. Hold it in for about 5 seconds. The TC light on the dash will come on telling you its been disabled.
Hold the button again and it returns to "normal".

I'd previously mentioned I'd be selling some hard luggage for an R1200R. That stuff is all actually up for sale now, thread is here.

...well, I tried the CE Bailey tall that came with the bike, it was like a barn door. Didin't go 5 miles before I tore it off and traded it for a CE Bailey Gen 2, like an 18"er. That wasn't too bad.

X-creen - Had good success with one on an RT.
I like the OEM flyscreen best, but wanted to test what the MRA Xcreen would really do. I know that its designed to create a vacuum/pocket of quiet air behind your windshield.

For my everyday riding the Xcreen does just what I expected. Air hits the helmet below my chinbar. (but it's adjustable, I have it full down position).
Perfect for day rides.

I haven't tried it atop the CE Bailey yet. Touring I'd definitely give it a try, certainly wouldn't hurt.

Best part is, this is the clamp-on version so you can 'xperiment.
Bad part is it's over priced IMO, comes in multiple bags of tiny parts with crappy instructions.
Bad too, it's a bit flimsy compared to the older ones that where solid 3/8" plexiglass, and didn't flex...

hi everyone,

first post on this forum. i am from germany (so please excuse my bad english), but somehow we don't have such a good german motorbike-board. just found this forum, and i think it's great. spent hours since yesterday just reading threads about – well, everything. :) especially all 36 pages of this R1200R-thread (better than a book).

just bought a 1 year old R1200R in light grey. it's still at the dealer, i'll pick it up next weekend. can't wait until i finally get it. so all i can do until then is readreadread about the greatest bike ever made and look at the photos you posted. thank god i already bought an R, otherwise i'd have to buy one now, because this thread is making my fingers itch. ;)

of course i'll provide you with pictures as soon as i have my own BMW.
until then, thanks for this great piece of internet. :)

Welcome to the forum. Don't worry about your English--It's better than some people who live here! Where in Germany are you from?
You're going to like your new bike!

Thx mate. :)
I'm from Fürth, close to Nuremberg in Frankonia/Bavaria - home to BMW, so to me it is kind of an obvious choice to buy one.

For now i gotta stop reading and Start watching Bayern München seal the Championship in Germany. :)

Thanks for the info...I've been looking at all options trying to avoid the most desired and expensive but man these guys with the wunderlich are killing me. I think I must dig deep in my pockets and get one.
