Homemade sidecar bodies
I am building a sidecar for my xs400/xt350 bike and I need ideas for construction of the tub. I have done extensive searching but can really only find info on frame construction and utility carts. I need some pictures/inspiration for small homemade passenger car bodies. Any info would be great, thanks!

Millennium, I built my sidecar body of 3/16 birch plywood. I don't know the technique of posting on a forum but I can e-mail some pix if you're interested.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() if you are handly with wood and have patience google 'cedar strip canoe'. This technique has been applied to make some very nice looking sidecar bodies. Use your imagination! I am sorry that I can't locate pictures. Or click here: http://www.pdxtex.com/canoe/canoe.htm

I saw this at Intermot in Cologne, if you're into kayaking this might work for you.
