Is that a Flux Capacitor to the left of the speedometer? Great pics. I sometimes feel like stopping to record milestones like that, but never do.

Might as well be. BMW call it a RID, Rider Information Display, it displays time in 24 hour mode, (can be changed to 12 by cutting a connection I've heard), what gear I'm in or not in, and the fuel level, which is as far as I can tell is arbitrary in nature.
