Droid-Zumo 660-Sena SMH-10 hookup.

I went with the helmet headset arrangement for one reason: To receive important phone calls. I've no interest in GPS voice prompts. In fact, I wish the nagging bitch would just STFU. I can see what I need to do on the screen. Problem is, when I mute the GPS it kills my phone audio. Any way around this?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know about the 660 but on my Zumo 550 I have an independent volume control for the GPS prompts under the Zumo master volume setting (it is a % setting). Can you just turn it down? You can always delete the voice file from the GPS unit, you may get an error but it will surely shut her up.:)

If you don't want to hear Nav prompts, why pair the Zumo to the Sena at all? I just pair my phone directly to my Sena and leave the Bluetooth on my 660 turned off.

Aha! Turns out that function is hidden in an obscure corner of the 660 under "navigation volume". Thanks much.

Just curious; do you have any way to make outgoing calls?

Voice dial on the sena. Not always the most accurate but it usually gets the job done.

I use voice dialing and I rarely have to try more than twice to get it to identify the correct address book entry. Usually, it gets it on the first try. And that's on my GSXR - I.e. Pretty little wind protection.

That said, I don't usually make outgoing calls when I'm riding. Generally, only to call my girlfriend to give her an ETA.
