SoCal to Montana any must sees?
So this will technically be my first adventure ride. I have a 2010 f800 gs, and my buddy rides a KTM 990. We are taking 10 days. Any trails roads etc we shouldn't miss? We are both experienced desert racers, so we are not afraid of the dirt. Thanks for any input!

Where in Montana will you be ending your ride? Montana is the Mongolia of America, and there is no shortage of dirt roads across mountains and plains.

For your Montana segment - 660 miles of scenic back roads. Includes the Magruder Coordidor and the Gravelly Range. Big bike friendly, isolated, watch your gas. Not open untill at LEAST July lke most of the better high country back roads in MT/ID. Check locally with USFS for open roads. Teaser pics from a trip last year in some of these areas.
