seems to have the same brittle bash plate that the other non-specials have.. maybe KTM doesn't realize baja has rocks?

They had to leave a few things for the new owner to personalize.

I remember in 2006, when BMW introduced the 1200GS while still selling the 1150GS too. They had both bikes in the same model year. They came out with a limited edition 1150GS in the white and blue scheme. Gosh, I still want one of those suckers, I loved that white/blue 1150GS. Oh ya, that Baja KTM looks nice too. Quote:

I have been wanting a new bike for the past few months, spent countless hours reading about the KTM 900 adventure as well as the tenere and a few others but none spoke to me like the KTM, I guess the orange got to me from having a ktm 990 SMR last year..I went to my local dealer yesterday and they just put a new baja edition on the floor... I looked, sat on it and it all came clear.. Had to have it..... Picking t up in a couple of hours.
![]() I know it has been discussed but first things I want are the sidestand relocator and a skid plate.. The ones I saw all seem quality so any reason to pick one over another ? .thanks... |

You're fine with any of them. The 9x0 ADventures have been refined for a decade now, no major TSBs. Just basic maintenance. I'd still recommend flushing the cooling system within 10K miles, on my 2008 I had a lot of sand still in the circuit. And of course, keep replacing those fuel filters.

Yup! Got mine! It is a little lower than my 04 950 was, but it feels good. I love it!
