Well, for $50-60 extra I will probably spring for the premium full coverage with big liability limits policy from Mexadventure. Not bad for me but....my bike is an 07.

Email sent.

What a maroon.

Peh. Don't worry. If you need a jet ride like that back home, tell them to give you two more morphines, and let someone else worry about it.

Pffft.......you think that would be a problem MedJet hasn't seen before?

They would land at Reynosa, taxi across the bridge, and takeoff again on the US side. Duh!

Excellent. TXjames and Ghost declared the Big Ugly ready to rock and roll. So I took her on a few dirt roads to test out their handiwork. Everything is a go except my hard bag mounts need a little re-working.

Will dirt test again tomorrow.

YouTube? Figured it would be there soon. For those who didn't see it: I stopped to make a phone call at a deserted gas station. Call started going longer so, with no hands on bars, I just let the bike lean left to rest on the kickstand. Yup. The kickstand that I hadn't deployed. Almost threw me through the window of the Expedition on the street. Brand new full tank of gas and a pannier full of GS cookies purchased from a little blind girl at the station. Damn this thing is heavy.

We'll just have to chalk this one up to brain damage.

1. Yeah. Not likely.
2. Sure he's going. But he thinks he's just going for a few days at the start. And so it begins.

Boss returns from HQ tomorrow. I'll get a read on whether or not I can skip out for a coupla days. Or a week. Or miss out entirely.

These are your kinda riders, Jimmex. I'll just try to keep up.
