Gerbing glove stopped heating

After 5 years of good use of about 20x per season, my left glove gives no heat. My right works well. I switched the plugs from the harness and it is the glove not the harness. Emailed Gerbings a little while ago and no response. These gloves were bought used, so no warranty. Does anyone know if Gerbings would repair the glove for a fee or replace it for a fee or do I just need to bite the bullet and buy new gloves?

Gerbings doesn't require receipts. Call them and talk to them about returning for repairs. Their stuff is forever.

When I returned an old jacket liner, they asked if I wanted to upgrade to a newer model, at a reduced price. No, just want the old one repaired. They sent me a new one anyway, free, along with the new style connection cords.

Did not find their European customer service to be any good at all.

I had a problem with a jacket liner that kept shorting out and sent several emails to them requesting a postal address to return it for repair, they eventually replied telling me that it must have been wrongly connected ,despite the fact I had used it for two seasons without problem.

I ended up opening it up myself and finding that the insulation had come off both the positive and negative connections inside the jacket so it was an easy fix.

Still like their gear though

In the past I was told that their warranty only covers the original owner. It has been a while and I don't have a receipt. I guess once the holiday weekend is over I will give it another try

Not sure what it says in the warranty but I have definitely had them repair a pair of gloves without showing them a receipt or verifying that I was the original owner. Hope it works out for you.

Good to know. I will try calling them again on Monday. I have tried a number of times now, but no answer and also left a message. I guess with a holiday maybe some of them took the whole week off..

Bought my used Gerbing heated gloves off of eBay. Left glove died. Emailed Gerbing and they said send it in. I did and they sent it back repaired. All it cost me was the postage to send the glove to them.
