What a great weekend!

It started a bit early with the arrival of cousin I had not seen in many years. Kurt was in CFL to get his airplane float rating arriving from Homer, AK. I ask him if he can ride a motorcycle and if he wanted to join in on ride, little did he know it was a wanker ride

Turns out he had never been on anything over a 125! Didn't matter, he made it down the road from my house, we call it funtime, mostly sand.

We meet up with The Z's at the pavement section of funtime and were off.

Making good time to Arcadia until JD spots some oranges in a curve. Takes one hell of fall. Oranges 1, JD 0

I rode up to Arcadia from Naples to meet everyone for the ride to Everglades City. On my way up 31 I saw these fellows in a pasture and it warranted a turn-around for a photo opp.


Once in Arcadia having located the proper gas station I found these guys, and gals!





We really needed some mud to break in this new paper tag, but none was to be found.



We finished the day off with a great meal in Everglades City under a full moon.





I look forward to the next meeting with all of you!

oh I can so relate to that......my ribs are actually worse than they were two weeks ago right after my 'off' at the BMWNEF Rally!! Hurts to breath let alone cough, laugh and frickin sneezing--- wow does that hurt!!!!!!

After a short jaunt, we are in Everglades City, ready for stone crab.


Stone crab and assorted other crustaceans were consumed. It was great to meet everyone. On to loop rd. where this unsuspecting gator got the wanker treatment


Dade Corners break, just in time to see em shut down the place due to a "burning fuse". Must have been lost in translation.


Finally arrived at Casa Sanders around 11 pm, followed by quite the party

Think I hit the sack about 2 while others imbibed in to the wee hours. The result:

I know for a fact that this gator is at least $5 richer than he was before we got there!!!

I had a great time.
Bike ran flawlessly, and it never hit the ground.
Now I just have to clean her and do a little maintenance.

The ride and the camaraderie were 1st class though.

Jaydee's mishap. A little birdie told me he was coming in on a 15mph curve at about 60, got skeered of an ernge, and dropped the Dirt Ninja but only after a triple somersault with a backflip to land a sub par 3. wankers aren't allowed to score 10s on the count of it would require too much effort





DM decided to step on and break Jaydee's glasses due to the sub par score...



No worries, out came a set of John Lennon spectacles... fook, a couple of celebs did come on the ride... first it was Jack Black & now John Lennon came back from the dead



We're off again to meet the rest of the crew at the Arcadia Hess...

Pit stop along the route... some mechanical difficulties separated part of the group at this point. We waited for a while. Larry played a pickup B-ball game with the d00d whose yard we parked in front of... in his MX boots no less.

Pics at the end of Oil Well Grade road... i had to lay 'er down at about 5mph due to the deep sand I don't think there were any pics soooo... it may not have happened. I also got the opportunity to flip Bruce off as I passed him.

Sorry, no pics of Jane's Scenic (to busy trying to avoid all the f'n potholes). That road seems to have been in worse shape than when we rode it in April.

After loop road, we parted ways. Some headed West and a few towards the East. We arrived at Paula & John's at about 10pm, drank until 5am i think... i don't quite remember.

Left Sunday around 11am and arrived at about 8pm. There was an issue with a KTM that took a few hours to resolve.

Had a great time. Hope to do it again soon.

And then the KTM bug bit. Clicky only, no start


Get it started and a few blocks down the road to the gas station and it begins to overheat, puking gas er I mean coolant DM assumes the position.


While others are deep in thought, who woulda thunk concrete could be so comfortable.


JD n I head off to find a battery, which we do, but it is the wrong size We get the battery straightened out with Paula's help and head outta town towards Clewiston where we ate lunch or dinner can't remember, some great burgers and refreshments at Roland Martins tiki bar.

After a few twists and turns we arrive at Casa sanjoh where the KTM is promptly but in it's place.


The weather was stellar all weekend, the company unsurpassed (even DM is coming around), thanks for a great time you wankers n bean flickers

I should have double checked DM's strapping of the beast. Notice how it is on the center stand, straps straight down, and no front wheel chock. I started noticing a bang taking off from a stop so I checked it out when we found a safe place to stop. All straps loose and 2.5 ft skid marks on the trailer deck from the Scorpions sliding back and forth. How it didn't take a nap I'll never know.

I believe only a couple of peeps turned around on Oil Well Grade and they weren't riding 2 up.
