Is there any Dishwasher repair FF's here ??

I really need to take my Kitchen Aid apart and clean the crud build up..
I need to know how to push the plastic stuff over to clean underneath them..
I do know how to take the bottom arm off ..
But how do I get that screen thingy up so I can get to the blades and clean down there...

Please help...
I watch the fella do it a few years back, But have forgotten now..

Ok I'm into the heart of the dishwasher !!
Trying to get the choppers out..

Let me tell ya ... You will NOT believe how gross this is ...

But I know after this full deep cleaning and ALL dishwashers need this ...
It will work and run so much better ...

I'm disappointed. No pics of the process.

Oh it was way to gross !!!
I mean way to gross.. Believe me ya did not want to see... what I have seen ...

No mice parts though

But I tell ya what.. I think I need a new chopping unit ... It looks to have some uneven wear...
SO I'll order one .. And when I put it back in I can do a step by step...

Edit.. I have always used Bleach or Vinegar... The gunk just builds up..
Oh and my dishwasher NEVER smelled...

Anyone else run a bleach cycle once a week to minimize the funk in the unseen parts?

I haven't taken mine apart to look, but it never stinks like other dishwashers I've been around.
