RTBLWOIBSH (Route b Luca wiped out in bear shit here?

Looking forward to this. Hope the sun comes out, and I can keep the rubber facing the right way.
That's a crack up! Every time I pass that spot from now on I will think of you. How's the shoulder doing?

Route hasn't changed... just the package. I'll try to get some stickers together by then.

Dave

Cool!! The first thing I did when I got back in May (ok, second after I went to the hospital) was to go to Touratech and get real panniers, so I have lots of space for advertising.

The shoulder is ok. I think it's always going to bug me a little bit.

See you in August.

Also, anyone interested in this ride please go to the GripTwister website and click on the "Upcoming Rides" link, then the link to the Funride and read all the pertinent information there regarding this ride.

A key difference of this ride from the May ride is that this ride is open to riders with GPS receivers, and who have purchased the Olympic Mountains Loop GPS Tour (or will be purchasing it).

Hope we get a nice size group!!

No you didn't miss anything. I PM'd the moderator and asked him to change it... which he did. He just beat you to it. Thanks though. So you're putting some dirt treads on and joining us again? Me thinks you'll like knobbies WAY better!

permission slip

Griptwisters,
Roger the thread title correction. I'm still in Peru. Gotta recon the date when I get back. Yea, knobbies(or kinda-knobbie at least). Might not last 5 years-7K miles like the gripsters did.

No Fun-Ride for me...

Sorry to say, that due to a back injury unrelated to motorcycling, I won't be putting on this ride as was planned.

Hopefully you guys will still get together and have a go at it.

Ok, Upon consulting with Squid Vicious, I can say that he and I and a friend of mine will be doing this ride. Anyone else is welcome to join us, of course. It was great fun last time, and I can only see it being better since it ought to be warm and dry this time (I hope so, I really do)

We'd prefer if you had a GPS and bought the route from Griptwister, so we can ride independently, but Toby, Bill and I will be sticking close together (so we can help each other pick up our GS's when they get tired and lay down.)

Anyone?? Bueller??

A strong maybe here. Got the route from Griptwister for the early spring run, but couldn't make it back then. Also have a GPS to run it on .

May even be able to drag Ruppert along, but only time will tell if the schedule actually works out this time around. It would be nice though.

I'll check with my social coordinator, but mark me a strong maybe also. I have no GPS at this time, but I'll stick close to Swiss if that's all right with y'all.

yeah, as far as I am concerned, GPS's are not required, but everyone needs to have a GPS buddy lined up who they are comfortable riding with. That way no one is stuck riding with some one much faster or slower than themselves.
