Hey Cory, I knew you were here somewhere. Great ride report & pictures. Got my XT running great now so maybe some summer you, Glenn and I can get together and ride NE Wa. together. Had some problems with my XT but got it together now, if it would only warm up. Got the rack you recoomened and some oversize pegs, god them stock ones are small. Can't wait for Moab in April, to bad you can't make it. Oh, and I think Tech Days is the same wk-end. Oh well can't do everything. Keep the rubber side down, Craig/Tuna.

Just a regular old, universal Slipstream S-06 Spitfire: http://www.bikebandit.com/slipstream...eld-windshield It came with the bike when I got it, and I was skeptical if it would do any good... The buffeting was bad at first, but after I put on some 1.2" Tusk bar risers and flipped the mounts around, it works like a charm. Granted, I'm about 5'9", so keep that in mind... Here's a photo from behind the bars: ![]() For me, it makes a world of difference when cruising at between 50-65mph...

Yes indeed, no problems with cable length with the stock handlebars with the 1.2" (30mm) Tusk risers. The risers make a huge difference in riding comfort (no more leaning forward), make it eaiser to ride while standing and appear to be well made. As an added plus, they're pretty affordable. I highly recommend them.
