Finished replacing the electrical connector on my Hannigan fairing with a mil-spec version: McMaster-Carr #'s 8903T46 and 8903T16. The female (8903T46) was installed inside yesterday after carrying the fairing inside and the male on the wiring from the headlamp today. All connections were soldered and covered with PVC heat shrink tubing.

Pleasant day in the shop
Adjusted the valves on my XR650L, Washed and waxed the KTM 990A and put it on a tender, Pulled the post hole digger off the tractor and cleaned it up for winter storage, greased the backhoe, topped off the fluids and put it on a battery tender.
Had a couple oc cups of coffee, a tin of sardines and some crackers. It was a good day.

Last night, removed the summer wheels with performance tires from my wife's AMG, and put on the winter wheels with snow tires.
Storm expected tonight.

You drive an AMG, at all, in the snow? What do you do to remove road salt?

Just live with it, is what we do. Wash when able. It's by no means a garage queen.

Thanks! but I did not take them, they are from the vendors site, my own photographic skills are very limited...the dampers themselves are even more beautiful in person but I probably won't see them again until the forks need rebuilding...got the dampers from http://www.lansdowne-engineering.com/
