2 day trip from Lisbon
Hello all, new member here. I travel a bit for work and occasionally get a weekend off in some pretty neat places. I'll be set free from work sometime on the afternoon of Friday March 1st in Lisbon, Portugal, and I have to fly out of Lisbon on Sunday March 3rd at 12:45.
So obviously I'm going to rent a bike and get some riding in. I'm thinking of trying to get a little bit out of the city on Friday afternoon / evening, the riding all day Saturday, then zipping back to Lisbon Sunday morning to make my 12:45 flight. Looks like most bike rental places limit my kilometers, plus there is only about 12 hours of daylight in March, so I'm not looking to do any marathon trips - no further than the southern coast if I go south or Porto to the north. I will be in Porto for work the week before, so I guess I don't feel like I need to go back.
I'd be very open to someone getting specific, telling me roads to take, hotels, restuarants, etc, but I realize that can be asking a lot. So instead, if I could get these questions answered that would be great:
1) Should I stick to the coast due to warmer temperatures?
2) Assuming I stick to the coast, should I go north or south from Lisbon?
3) Any must see cities or must ride roads?
4) Will traffic be a nightmare leaving Lisbon on Friday afternoon / evening?
Thanks in advance for your help! I can't wait to see Portugal!

In 2 days you "can't go far" .
I spend 1 day riding from Lisbon to Cabo Roca, Sintra... and I was "late" back in Lisbon.
South is nice but it's a long way to get to some interesting places.
If you are renting from Motoxplorers, I know that they can advice you where to go.
