Motorcycle Superstore has the best price I've seen so far.

Give Keel Brothers a shot too, (former two brothers) with tubes they were cheaper than MCSS, SWmoto, Chaparral, and other places I checked. And I would rather support a small guy too.

I actually ended up buying from my dealer, who got so damn close to matching MSS I figured I'd prefer to give them the bidness. Sometimes it's worth just asking what they can do.

I'm all for helping the local guys but around here they want to charge full price for tires and then another $30 per tire to mount and balance. It's far easier and less expensive to just buy them online and mount them myself.

I think I'll order them from Comp Acc. since they support the forum.

My local guy gave me 40% off list price for the two sets I bought from him.

I'm the same way. Normally dealers can't (won't) even get close to online prices on tyres. This time my dealer found out that I was looking at new tyres, and contacted me and offered me 38% off list, which worked out only a couple of dollars more per tyre than MSS. Since he made the effort I bought from him, even though that ended up costing me sales tax on top of course.

However, on prices I just had a look at Competition Accessories website, and their prices actually look as good as Motorcycle Superstore, slightly better when bought as a pair . On the Anakee IIIs:

90/90-V21 MSS $124.99 CompAcc $126.11
150/70-V17 MSS $173.99 Comp Acc $169.99

Comp Acc has free shipping over $89 so I think I will buy tyres there next time, being as they went to the trouble of doing a decent review, plus support the forum. Spread the love, so to speak.

Anyway, I just installed the Anakee IIIs yesterday. Very interesting tread pattern - I can't wait to try them out. Still too salty around here for my nice bikes, but maybe I can get the Tiger out by mid March. The tyres seem quite stiff, but were not difficult to mount at all.

Keel Brothers prices are pretty good too. Not far above the "bigger" online places. Good to know.

Ordered from Competition Accessories. I'll install them when they arrive and get a review up. It will probably be a review on cold asphalt and snowy back roads 'cause that's the reality for a while. My Tourances are a little freaky on winter roads.

Thanks for the review/video Reuben. Efforts are much appreciated. Prop! They look sweet on your Tiger! The tread pattern looks like tiger stripes. Will look the part on my orange '05 with her striped tank. :)

I am coming off a set of Heidi K76's with 7k miles, they still have meat but have a 2500 mile trip at the end of te month.

I just mounted up a set of the Anakee 3's on the GSA today..I'm planning 2500 mile trip from Vegas to across the border for a week.

Seeing the 3's in person I was really impressed in the design and can see the factors in the design that should make them perform as advertised.

I've had my bike since 2006, I have ridden the Dalton on it and many miles offroad.

I've run Trail Attacks, K76's, TKC 80's, distansas....of all of the the Heidi K76's were the best and trail attacks second... Ive ridden snow, mud, gravel, and some offroad steeper hills.

Just an FYI - Just got an email that Anakee's (2 & 3's) are on sale at CA:
http://www.compacc.com/Michelin-Anak...ce=Emailvision

Prices seem to be a couple bucks less than what Propforward posted a couple of weeks ago.

Just wanted to pop back in and say thanks for all the feedback everyone. Those of you who have had a chance to put some miles on these, what are your initial impressions?
