Does it ever go away?
I rode in my first competition and learned a few things.
 I still make goofy faces. This one gave the wife and I a real good laugh. Doing 3 loops of 10 sections is physically and mentally exhausting. It is still more fun than I expected. I made a mistake thinking that participating in a sport that requires excellent balance and coordination would help me cut down my alcohol consumption because it would be detrimental to performance and frowned upon or at the very least discouraged. I was really wrong on this.
