Anybody know where I can get a front countersprocket to fit a klr650? Just realized I left mine back home 5 hours ago, grabbed all the parts to swap it but not the sprocket itself.

I can stick with the 17, but obviously fewer teeth would make the chewing easier. I'm at the kawi dealership in leeds ( reggies kawasaki ) and they have nothing, nor does reynolds in buxton maine.

Ms. Barb just called from Brighton. She says it isn't raining, and hasn't for over an hour!

Thanks, but Just as soon as I posted that message I decided to check the place I was already headed for, whitehorse gear. They had 14s, 15s and 16s in stock - grabbed a 14 there.

When I got there I had no signal, otherwise would have mentioned it sooner.

I'm at Mt. Washington where it's raining. They closed the mountain! I tried to explain I had knobbies and a hood, but they still won't let me go. Headed to the campsite after I pick up some barley pops.

Was just up at Brighton to drop food off. Ballics, Grind, oldskiguy, and AtlasEXP have arrived. Ms. Barb has been there all day. Things are shaping up!

Checked in, was convinced to upgrade to a lean-to. Tent set up in "Oak", new sprocket applied. Gonna make sure it still wheelies properly, then go search out the grub.

Radio Silence.....Don't know if anyone is listening. They're probably all out stuck in the mud.

I'm headed up this afternoon myself, radar base sounds cool.

Back at the house to drop off the DRZ and get the trailer for the suddenly not running KLR. Saw some tire tracks from the small bikes. If they're not stuck in the mud, they are certainly going to have mud on them.

A great event, and very well attended despite the drippy weather. It was good to see all you RedNEK vets out there, and meet a bunch of new faces along the way!

Great event!!

Tm and Barb...

Thanks for the great food and hospitality. We know the feeling that comes from hosting riders from all around here in VT. You know how to do it!!

Hope all arrive safe & dry.

See some of you later this week up in Ontario!

You were and are most welcome. Great meeting you! I'm considering if there will be a Fall 2013. I have quite a lot on my plate then, and Ms. Barb has just entered college in the hope of joining a new career in physical therapy. She'll be flat-outer than usual. When she's flat-out -- whoa, we're talkin' the ton.

I'd say Brighton State Park worked out very well -- we had a blast! It was nice to know that when we packed up, we were all done except for the crying! (And home dish washing.)

We could probably do a fall ride if the gastronomic expectations weren't huge, or if we had a hand with the chow. Beyond the pre-running, the meals were the second most time-consuming part. As usual, Ms. Barb managed to feed a hungry crowd on slim resources and a lovely smile. I think we may be the only ride in the east that offers carnivore, veggie, and gluten-free cooked on a camp porch! If there is a fall RedNEK, it may be oatmeal for breakfast and some simple one-pot stuff for dinner, accompanied by great foliage.

The bratwurst Saturday were the finest I've ever had, and I'm not alone in that comment. Big thanks to family-run Wisconsin River Meats, who made special efforts to pack and ship our order to us. They deserve ADV patronage. Their prices are reasonable, their service exceptional, and the eatin's good. Their Landjaeger sausage was also a big hit, and are very good road food, as they're shelf-stable for a considerable time without refrigeration.

Let's keep the conversation going!
