What is your next scooter?

I've been thinking of either getting a smaller scooter in the 250-400 range of keeping my Wing and getting a Zuma 50. If you were getting a scooter now what would be on your short list?

BV-350, or a remainder or slightly used TMAX. I have a BV250 which is so nice and probably similar enough to the BV350 that I think I should first wear out the BV250 before trading up.

I have no idea. Just depends on what else I have at the time.

I would love a Stella but I hear so many horror stories about them. They are super cool though.

If not going for the cool factor they probably something big enough to do everything. So at least a 300cc.

I have a Kymco Downtown 300i. Awesomeness almost all the way around. Average of 70 MPG, 77 if I'm easy on it. Light weight, great all around bike. The seat/legroom being the big downside. Had the BMW c600 been out when I jumped to scoots a year and a half ago, that most likely would be gracing my garage now. Although... you can get 2 Downtowns for the price of one BMW, so I'd have to drive one first.

I have a 34" inseam so leg room is very important to me.

If I had to buy tomorrow it would be either the SYM Citycom 300 or the KYMCO People 300i. Hopefully that decision is another 20,000 miles or so later.

Did'ga do it????

I'm close to pullin the trigger on a SYM City300. Now you just gave me something else to look at. Can you clue me in on $$$. What made you go with the BV? What dealership? Did you consider SYM/Kymco or anything else.

A late-'50's Lambretta Li or TV -- one of the ones that sort of look like a sea cucumber.

Just got the thing ("Yes, we know!!!!" sighs everybody!)..........

http://www.scootersales.com.au/News-...x8-250-ie.aspx

The 400cc models are a couple of inches longer in the wheelbase, allowing you to stretch out a bit more (I'm 6ft1 and 33" inseam), but the 250s are not cramped by any means.

Burgman 400s and Majesty 400s weigh in around 200kg dry, and have an extra inch or so again. All the 400 maxi's will sit on 80mph true speed easily for hours on end and return 25km/L or better average on the highway, have 60L of storage, and a cruise range of at least 200miles. Good downsize from a Goldy.

I'm thinking more and more a Burgman 400 might do it for me. More storage than the Silverwing, more legroom, and better mpg, and it weighs 100lbs less than the wing.

The Burgman 400 seems to be the sweet spot.

I would love to have a brand new Vespa GTS 300 super but I don't see that being my "next" due to lack of funds. More realistically it will be something used in the 150 to 250cc range. Maybe a elite 250 would be cool.
