If you are going to go the rotopax route (and a winch back there too?), better reinforce that subframe.
since you're throwing everything at it, what about a center stand? Also, no crash bars for the SE that I'm aware of. You will have quite the ride when you are done.... these bikes are stupid fun.

excellent point about the subframe. They tend to fatigue fracture at the welds when there is weight on the back of the bike. We can address the stress points by adding gussets etc.

Did I miss what you are doing for longer range?..2-1 exhaust and CJ's aux tank...
Headlight upgrade or Rigid industries aux LED lights Fastaway Adventure pegs are a better option if you are over 6' tall (can be put in a lower position) TKC tire is scientifically designed to cause pinch flats Neduro Mirrors Renazco saddle 320mm front rotor Sharkfin Farkling is a slippery slope... ![]() Here is my fairing solution...

This: http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p1...duct_info.html With these : http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p1...duct_info.html I would go for the largest possible fan. ut i don´t know the room availeble on the SE. |

i'm barely 5'10". prob 5'9"+. used to be over 5'10"! i like TKC and have never had a problem. on my 530 or 990. hdb mirrors. have on my 530 and 990. once you get used to them--love them!! might put on my 350. don't ride long distances. 1 gal rotopax occasionally is good for me. only seem to need that in NV or UT. trailer 3-4 bikes, camp, ride. or street/dual sport rides around WA state. don't like 2 into 1 look. head2wind-what do you think about 320mm front rotor? sharkfin good idea. have on my other ktm's. love the fairing--head2wind has ideas that I don't know yet. thank you for the great response!

You don't need a faring/windscreen and a TKC on a SE is just silly.
![]() Maybe I misunderstand you but if you're riding 75% asphalt you should sell it and get a SM or something more biased for on-road. You'll be glad you did.
