It is a 2012 and my list of mods is a long one There are better bikes with better mods than mine...but by far the suspension mod for me is the best!

Hi Alex,

I'm your customer in the Philippines. I'm dying to try out the product after reading all the glowing reports. My forks have been with you for some time now, can you advise when they will ship.

Regards, Roderick

We wanted to give a quick heads up that we are know offering bi-weekly pickups in the Portland area. We have had an influx of PDX customers the last few months, and to better serve you we have decided to offer the same services we do to our Seattle Metro customers.
Please contact us at Alex@konflictmotorsports.com for more details.

HI Alex,

Any chance you can service the Ohlins BM317 shock I have on my R80G/S?

From what I am told, the low-speed damping is not working and may need some attention as well.

Thanks!

Newest Project

The 24 Hours of Starvation Ridge race is coming up quickly October 26th and 27th. Myself and Daryl from Cyclops Adventure-sports have assembled a team in which we will be competing on our adventure bikes.
We have named our team The Heavyweights for obvious reasons. We have started a Facebook page so our progress on bike preparations, modifications, rider interviews, and race updates can be easily followed.

The facebook page can be found at. http://www.facebook.com/advheavyweights

Our team consists of riders of varying skill from AA NMA hare scramble riders to Baja 1000 racers.

Team riders:
Radek Burkat- KTM 990 Adventure
Darryl VanNieuwenhuise- KTM 950 Adventure
Alex Martens- KTM 950 Super Enduro
John Isenburg- KTM 990 Adventure
Jason Williams- KTM 990 Adventure

We have had a lot of interest from companies in the industry willing to support our race effort:

Giant Loop Moto- www.giantloopmoto.com
Konflict Motorsports & Suspension- www.konflictmotorsports.com
Renazco Racing- www.renazco.com/
Tigatu Clothing Company- www.tigatu.com
Cyclops Advnturesports- www.cyclopsadventuresports.com
Coastal Instruments Inc.- www.facebook.com/coastalinstruments
Klim- www.klim.com

Attempting to race the 24 Hours of Starvation Ridge on 500lb + adventure bikes has yet to be done, this will truly test our skills, and possibly our sanity.

Race information can be found here: www.overthebarsgang.com

Just a quick heads up that we are closed today 10/24 through 10/30 as we are prepping and heading out to race the 24 Hours of Starvation Ridge.

A bit of what we are doing:

If your local and want to see some Big Adventure bikes racing against the 450's come on out and help a great cause.

Our Team is putting together a food drive for the Goldendale food bank, we are giving away tickets to the raffle with a donation of food or cash.
Prizes include a Cyclops LED Adventure light, a Giant Loop Mojave, a few Clairisonic toothbrushes, a suspension service from Konflict just to name a few.
The Food bank has asked for donations of "meals" such as chili, soup, stew and mac&cheese as well as fruit.

Please come by and help those that are less fortunate., plus you might win some cool stuff

24 Hour of Starvation Ridge Recap

This past weekend we teamed up with Cyclops Adventure sports and competed in the 24 Hours of Starvation Ridge on our KTM 990's and Super Enduro's. We finished 17th overall, and second in our class (Sportsman).

Quoted from RedBastard's reply in the 24 Hour of Starvation thread in the regional section:
Lap times
Lap times varied as night fell and thick fog rolled in. Fastest lap for the HeavyWeights team was 53 minutes. These guys were incredibly consistent. There were some very tough rocky (boulders) sections, tough on a lite weight dirt bike, I don't know how they did it on a 500lbs Adventure bike.

Official result was a 2nd place in Sportsman Class and 17th overall out of 96 teams!

Pit row Saturday morning

The pit, it was busy, but everyone was ready to go out for each of the 25 laps completed.

This is what awesome looks like when you line it up.

These guys can ride:
Alex Martens (Owner of Konflict Motorsports & Suspension)

Darryl VanNiewenhuise (President of Cyclops Adventuresports)

John Isenburg

Jason Williams

Radek Burkat

We have a lot more info, pictures, and video coming. This is just a teaser...

Ktm 500 exc

Hey Alex...

I am considering having the suspension done up for my 2013 500EXC. Overall, I am happy with it. It is very plush and stable. I can't really fault it in any way. It has a Race Tech P30 spring and heavier oil in the forks, but that's it.

I am prepping the bike for a ride down the Baja Peninsula (casual ride).

My typical ride is the soft sand of Long Island, NY with the occasional rocks and roots of New England.

Looking to bring the suspension up to spec and improve it where (if) possible.

Rick

Nice opening photo on your new website, Alex

Seeing those monsters all lined up like that is pretty cool, I'm sure sorry that I didn't make it to the Ridge that weekend, it woulda been a hoot!!

I got me a KLR with Sidecar for our dogs, but I can put up with driving it for a while, so as soon as I get my wife's bedroom sheetrocked so she (we) can move back into it, I'll spend a little time in that Garage and pull Punkin apart and send you her front legs and shock. I'm one of the world's greatest procrastinators; it's an art.
