Good turn out.

I did not know Saxon, but wanted to ride to this 'send off' to support fellow riders & to show respect & support to the mans family.

Met BigDave in Troutdale @11:30am.

Then rode cautiously over to the Hillsdale church, only a few frosty corners, but the sun was out in full.

Bunch of bikes there when we arrived.

That quickly doubled when the Full Tilt guys turned up.

Dave catching up with some old friends.

Most of the riders were in standing room down the sides of the church, with a large turn out.
Lots of stories were told with much laughter from well controlled family, friends & club members. Saxon was obviously an unselfish friend to many & will leave a long lasting memory for most he came in contact with.

As it turns out, i had met him in short near where i live, when i came upon a group taking a break & asked if they needed help. RIP Saxon Smith!

Feeling the desire for friendship from our own growing brotherhood, we visited with ScottPDX on our way back towards the mountain, for a coupla refreshments to wash away that dryness in our throats.

Good to meet you Bigdave, let's ride again soon.

Much respect to a man who attended a funeral of someone he never met, just to support his family and the sport he loved and ultimately died doing.

Sax was a good man and I lost one friend but gained two more on the day!

Thanks for joining me Neil, it was a rough day that you made easier!

Thanks again!

Dave

Small world, I worked - otherwise I would have attended.

Both, Squishy and Scott_PDX are very good friends to have !

Those couple hours at Motolady's event will stay with me forever, because you just don't think
about how fast things happen - until they do!

Good to hear this was quite the turnout!
