PHX - Christmas at Wildcat

20+ members of the Arizona Trail Riders converged on the Wildcat OHV area on Christmas Eve for some sweet soft damp decomposed granite single track riding!

I'm going to flip my report around and post up the ride video first for a change. I was really in the holiday mood when I put it together. Don't forget to set to HD to get the best resolution.

We split up into two groups, this one started with 15 and we picked up more along the way.

Conditions were perfect!

We were hammering along and the group stayed surprisingly tight.

A few bottlenecks here and there.

We picked up this fellow on a Honda 250L. He had his work cut out for him!

Chaos ensued.

I have to admit, I wasn't leading the ride for a change, but I was right there instigating the leader into making bad decisions...like...sure...Mad Crasher Hill would be a good idea!
