If you had the money for three bikes which would they be? - Page 4

Alright I thought this would be easy and the three choices would roll right off my finger tips on to the key board.
I have a BMW GSA and would keep that, have a KTM 690 E/R and would keep that...but then a rally prepared version would be nice and the OP did say any bike. I was going to say a Ducati 1199 P/Ror some other exotic for the a third bike but they don't fit me very well, not to say I wouldn't give it a try

That'd be my three I suppose...so many bike though!

so I want a cruiser so a DL1000 or 650 as my 2 up
a 300 Vespa or the 350 from Piaggio
and a DR650 or KLR650 (like the one I have)

sounds all good! of course I am 2 bikes short.

I'm quite pleased with my stable of 4.

'86 Honda Helix for everyday knocking around and slow trips
'12 Honda Silverwing for longer/faster trips
'08 Suzuki S40 for a fun cheap cruiser
'11 Honda CBR 250 just because

Total investment $16k.

For me it would be:

1: 1966-1968 Lambretta SX200 Uber rare and probably the BEST Lambretta ever made.

2: 1974-1979 Vespa Rally 200 What scooterist wouldn't want a Vespa Rally?

3: 1977 and up Vespa P200 This would be my daily ride.

For me the first two would be the equivalent of the 1961 Ferrari 250GT California Spyder from Ferris Beuller's Day Off.
