Interesting, but on customer RCVs it's the fight to see who doesn't end up dead last.

Rossi ends Lorenzo's winning streak, takes 1st place!

Marquez runs off the track but doesn't crash!

The first line yeah but the second line - the left hemisphere may talk to the right!

Ooooo, I want in!

Rossi takes a small step forward in qualifying to put himself on the second row which proves to be close enough that he can hang with Jorge from the start and begin hassling him somewhere around the halfway point of the race. He takes the lead and the win while Jorge settles for second. Meanwhile the two factory Yams opened a gap over the rest of the field, led by MM93 who began closing the gap but thought better of it after replays of the past two races' points hauls danced through his head.

If history is any indicator and my record holds ... none of the above will occur.

Showers forecast for the weekend, rain on friday, I predict Jorge catches a cold, Vale cleans up big time despite qualifying in 10th, Mark actually stays on the bike for 3 laps, Dani second, Dovi third.

One can dream can't I?

I read somewhere that the Suzi's were great in the wet...

Or not.

It's like guessing the winning Lotto numbers, a year from now.

It's a pity it's no longer the only part of Nederland that isn't flat! Damn I miss the old flowing lines.

I still want to visit one day though, so........

Unless it's flat and WET, then JL can have a good lie down somewhere.

Rossi is getting a bit nervous over JL's string of victories. I predict Rossi wins it or bins it.. Either way, I predict a great race.

Assen, the way it was, was definitely among my favorite tracks on the GP calendar, was very tough to accept that they changed it, even though some parts were left intact. Curves after the legendary old Haarbocht were unique, you could just feel their outrageous speed even on TV, somehow there are very few such places left anywhere, on any track. That section probably was not very safe either, if you crashed you often 'flew' from the banking and got hurt.

Been to Assen 3 times. Of course I'm sad to look over my shoulder and see where the old track went...But man!!! It's still a brilliantly FAST track! One of the MUST GO TO European tracks, with Brno, Mugello, Imola, Monza....

Atmosphere is sooo cool.

Marquee's battles for the lead won't fail forever, once he's in front he manages a 2-4 second lead to the end. There's nothing in it for him, or Repsol Honda, to ride around behind any Yamahas.
The dreary crap changeable Netherlands climate lets soft tires work in a race, Crazy Joe second, with Aleix just pipping Dovi at the flag.
