Today was the first chance I had to double check a little test roadbook that I put together. I was very impressed with how close the mileages came out; very close to what my ICO displayed. I was also happy with the CAP heading accuracy. This program really makes compiling a roadbook much easier.

Finally tried out the software..................It's fantastic.

Can't believe it's free, something so good should cost a pretty penny.

Great job and thank you.

Now I just gotta play w/ it a bit more and understand the ins and out of the program.

for prerunning in the foruby, i now need an android tripmeter program, something that shows coords, cap and a couple of tripmeters with in/de-crement buttons.
how handy would that be for verifying a roadbook alongside maverick using google/microsoft hybrid sat images.

ive since found and used this one - its only a tripmeter, no cap.
& although its resettablle and the distance can be corrected, its a bit clumsy.
anything better android abusers are aware of?

I gotta say, this is just fantastic. I can't wait until our weather is a bit better to get out and try some roadbooks I have been working on. I'm so stoked for this riding season!

It looks absolutely great!
I do however have a problem - when it first tried, I got a bunch of "icons" which I could drag onto the tulip area to create cryptic little pictures.
Now, the icons are gone.
Nothing under Roads, Landmarks, Signs, Speeds, Terrain. I can still add Text.
It also won't print.....

What changed was that I uninstalled the latest Google Earth and installed version 6.2, as suggested.

Any ideas? Is my ability making a roadbook as bad as my riding ability?

are you attempting to add symbols after you've identified the waypoints? If so, look at the bottom of the roadbook (as you edit it) for the symbols. i found out that they have to be added as I add the WP's.

I tried both ways, adding symbols afterwards or as I identify them. Same issue. A screenshot is attached, if that helps.....

I ran it out of Firefox rather than Internet Explorer, and it works 100%.
Problem solved.
