CRF 230F hard to shift into second gear
Gents,
I have an adventurized 2006 crf 230F. I just got back from a 700 mile trip into Baja. The bike has probably around 4-5K miles since new. Many if them with heavy loads at approx 250-275 pounds. I have kept up with the maintenance and have not abused the bike other than the payload. About 1/2 way through our trip the bike began to be hard to get into second gear. You pretty much had to get your foot under the lever and slam it into 2nd gear. The gears higher than that were easy. First gear was easy. Any ideas? DD
