I too carry a roll of rescue tape, a bit of Gorilla 100mph tape, nylon and SS zip ties and a tube of liquide metal (JB Weld) in each of my on-bike tool kits. Doesn't take much room; very, very useful when needed.

duct tape.

Plenty of uses, but one in particular stands out. We were deep in Baja Sur on a surf trip, and the fan belt gave out. It took the entire roll of duct tape to get running again, but it worked.

Now that I'm older and wiser, I carry both, in addition to JBWeld, etc etc.

I actually thought that 175km/hr seemed like a low speed. I really expected them to be closer to 200-210, especially with the stupid engines they have in those. They really are asthmatic with those restrictors hey?
Interesting that Mark Miller thinks the restrictor would be smaller if they ran to FIA specs, and the car would be faster. Need to research those rules I think. Anyone got a link to them?

Me too, PynGyver fork repair pix! We need the powerful F5orce to contact the right people inter-bivvy to take spy pix, if Lyndon is too tired to do it. My bet is Pyn did take pix.
