An interview with Luis, and an interview with Pyndon and PynDad would end the Dakar season on a real high note for Rally RAIDio...
![]() ![]() Thanks for taking the time away to get the call up, PM.

Scanned with my phone last time we were up here and couldn't find any open networks, and the 3g signal here bounces too much to use with the computer.
The original RallyRAIDio laptop (ancient) managed to sniff out a signal, though. Karma?

This year I've been reduced to mostly catching up in the evenings. While it's a bummer not to follow it in real time, it's fun to read everyone posts. It's like recording the Superbowl on a DVR and not giving into the temptation to check the score so you can experience the game as it played out. It's not quite so bad following the Dakar since there is already a built-in delay when following it.
I agree with some others (like 30 pages back, I'm not going to go looking for that needle in the F5 haystack) in that I've lost some respect for Mark Miller and Perfect-hansel in their criticisms of Gordon. I'm sure RG isn't perfect, but they do the very things they accuse him of (but of course it's different because they're justified). I've seen a lot of good from R.G., and I think they exaggerate . . . I want to elaborate more but I'm so tired I can't stand it. I've just got to shut up and go to sleep. I'm excited for Pyn, of course, but I find myself super-excited for Luis. Last year was a heart-breaker when he got so close to the end. And if Manuel, Luis and Pyndon end up with finisher medals I'm going to invent a new happy dance and make my neighbors wonder what the hell is happening over here. Laia has been brilliant and tenacious, Patrick has been smooth and consistent. It's been a great Dakar. The only way it could get better if Cyril's KTM breaks down and it takes him 20 minutes to fix (no dislike for CD, I'm just sayin' it would make things awesome).

Am I crazy or did all the fonts on this Page 1100 go from normal readable San Serif to tiny Serif fonts? None of the other threads, or even earlier pages shows this way, and in multiple browsers the same? Did the ADVserver hiccup?
