Just got back from a 30-mile sympathy ride, thinking of all the Dakarino's out there who've suffered the ups and downs first-person, the injuries, the weather, the repairs, the uncertainty, and finally the joy of crossing the final finish.

My heart sings with joy for them, for their accomplishments. My heart cries out in sympathy for those who could not finish, and especially for those who were lost in this year's event.

My thanks go out to the F5 team, and while I posted very little this year, I think I read every single post from the first to the last, and appreciate every one of them. You guys and girls put on one hell of a show for the desk-bound who can only dream of such things.

See you next year!
