Good luck to all the competitors today, I hope to jump back in front of the hose by mid stage or a bit there after... So if anyone feels they want to take the "f5ire in the hole" starters pistol into their keyboards hands... do it?

But don't get it out of synch (with the DAKAR clock and actual start instant)... that f5 juju is powerful stuff if it's misshandled.

Have a great stage, ride fast, smart... and don't fall off the keyboard!

I have a french friend, so penalties dont hit me hard. And otherwise I have a spanish friend who may also be austrian with a big moustache who can also help in times of trouble.

85 km of liaison, 1,5 hour.
250 km, roughly 3,5 hours for the fast boys and 5 hours for the mortals.
