Not really, he first showed up as 3rd at wp1 then later dropped to 15th... meaning there are faster guys who started later than him.

Yep, sounds like Lopez led a group the wrong way. Assuming some riders will take correct route and that order will shuffle...but who knows I could be way off at it's just a tracking issue

Sure is! barreda is only 5 seconds on road behind despres should just shadow him for the rest of the day and go into day 3 with a nice advantage

Have we had any retirements yet. I was interested to follow the guy on the 1978 Bultaco, nr 169 Ignacio Chivite but I cant find him on trackingdakar or dakartracker.

Also interested in the progress of no 127 Nicolas Boyer riding an XR400, I see he has made it through WP1.
