She wears a domeless bball cap - I know she is a stuck up ditz.

On a number of stages with multiple loops it was a pleasure to see him pass me by, dueling with Coma and it is awesome to experience the speed and grace at which these professional sportsmen go about their day job.
What is also clearly obvious when you actually put yourself in to the arena instead of commenting from behind a keyboard is how terrifying riding at speed is in the desert! I have the utmost respect for these guys and how they feed their families and if you were to witness them at full chat, 170kms over rocky ground then you may not be so quick to judge them when they are in their 'zone'.
A lot rests in their hands at the DSS, not least their life and livelyhood.
Let's be thankful we still have true heroes in this sanitised world!
Go Cyril!
And get well soon Marc!
Yeah must say, even though I was one of the more vocal critics of Cyril last year at mud gate, he has won me over ever since. Great post and puts a lot of things in perspective after the heat of the moment has passed. That bandana has got to go though

Multiple stops for the man at the wheel of the Qatar Red Bull buggy. Nasser Al-Attiyah has again come to a halt four kilometres from the finish line

Just askin

For me, It seems to be more percieved personality. Cyril does seem to be somewhat grumpy but that could also be focus and hell he might be a little tired of having cameras shoved in his face. Coma almost always seems to be smiling and just appears to be a very personal kind of guy.

All of which could be bullshit but I would still rather sit and have a beer with either of them than Gordon.

However, I'd like to party with Chelico.

I'm trying to understand the benefits, or lack thereof, of having your teammate in such close proximity...
Faria will start the next stage behind CD by a couple of minutes. It's a great position to provide assistance while CD continues to make up time. And, if the unthinkable happens and CD is eliminated from the race, KTM has Faria on the podium. If the unthinkable doesn't happen both CD and Faria are on the podium.

Cyril appears to me as the consumate professional that allows for glimpses into the man behind the goggles through his home and training videos which all come across to me as a personable guys who happens to be very focused and serious about what he does for a living.

I never bought into the mudgate hate as I like to think I saw it for what it was, a guy who for once, let a bit of panic about losing too much time take over his emotions. It's happened to the best. To date, even after seeing the video footage numerous times, I won't pretend to think I know what transpired between Despres and Goncalves. Paulo himself didn't seem to chuffed after that incident, so why should anyone else be.

I think he would be ideal for HRC and a huge coup if they are able to lure him away from KTM. He would help development and I see it as a respect earning move as I'm sure, proving what he already has in bike, could say the word and open a door at Mini. For Cyril to make such a bold move to HRC relatively late in his riding career shows me that he loves riding and prioritizes that over the results of it all.
What he said..

Getting pretty sick of the Cyril bashing all the time.. Can anyone hold there hand up and say they are whiter than white and have never done something they aren't proud of?
