    Even though they have passed CP1, the point at which the car/truck special has been called to a halt, the leaders of the car special have been stopped by the race organisers on the last section of the route, namely, Robby Gordon, Stéphane Peterhansel, Nani Roma and Giniel de Villiers.

Stopped due to weather..... never happen in an American enduro.... I was once inside my pickup waiting for my starting time and it rained so hard could not see my bike leaning against my front bumper of the pickup. When my minute came up I got out and started the race in a downpour.....Stopped due to weather is for Frenchmen? What a way to preserve a lead.

They stop it if the terrain becomes undoable (rivers too deep, etc) or if the helicopters cannot fly (safety).

Dude, your American Enduro is not the Dakar. The Dakar is not your American Enduro.

Grow up and learn a bit about what's outside of your pond.

Watching KC riding is just fun!

CdP's approach to that river crossing....smart, why take a chance with an off/injury/pick up the bike.
