Apparently HRC doesn't read AdvRider yet. I know we discussed HRC's 30L fuel capacity as to why they didn't go with the established 34 to 36L

Hans-Jos Liefhebber actually got disqualified today, the Dutch and Belgians say. Apparently for riding against the direction of the course.

That is a great example of what this is all about. I have to say, not being much of a CdP fan, that my respect for his off-track manners is growing. I have to wonder if his sponsors have anything to do with this....

I do think he might have been shocked with the backlash and his public image after mudgate - or the public perception of mudgate - and really worked on it, probably with the help of PR people. After last year's Dakar, "he" started tweeting, sending out more email updates and so on.
