I've seen some questionable safety in my day - look at those stands. I guess the mechanics have their own challenges on the Dakar. Don't wiggle or bam! flat like potato pancake...

Man, secrets of the stars... I'm gonna try that when I get home. Seriously. That might just get out those stubborn stains!

I've gotten home so dirty I wasn't allowed in the house unless the gear got pressure washed first.

With me in it.

Good rides.

Thank doG you're here to tell these wimps and bed wetters how it's done here in the U.S. I was beginning to fear I was the only one, and didn't want to get jumped and raped by the socialists in this thread. I remember one time it rained fuckin' frogs, and the race still started on time.

preach on brother. I once navigated an entire roadbook route by rubbing a needle on a magnet and then sticking it into the tip of my wang.

They hate our freedom from the impact of the elements, only way anyone but an American wins is by cheating.

How do you know? you're not 'mericun. A real 'mericun would punch that wall of water right in it's watery face and show it who's boss...

I remember an interview with him earlier in the rally saying he doesn't want to win too many stages because he's afraid of the ASO handicapping his car even more next year. I think he's been sandbagging a little since the turtle incident

He struck me more as Coma's protege, so I'd re-phrase that as "when Coma retires Kurt becomes Repsol KTM's #1" otherwise, I totally agree.

Funny how people lose track of this concept
Back to my "half life the race post" Cyril has everything to lose, and nothing to gain by running flat out. He's managing his exposure to risk. But I'm sure we'll hear about how he's over the hill because he didn't win any of the last few stages. Just like we heard about how he was going down this year after not winning any of the early stages.
