Having lost about 5 weeks so far because of incompetent mechanics I start to think about a plan b. it is not that I have ever had a clear plan a, but i thought I could ride to TdF and either sell the bike, ship it to South Africa or store it for another trip northwards. Now I wonder if I should go on in my pace and store the bike wherever i am in june *have to go back for my sisters wedding*, or fly to the south *for instance santiago de Chile*, ride to the tip and take my time on the way up...
Any ideas or experiences about that idea? What could that cost?
Thanks in advance for any tips
Guess most countries will make problems leaving the country without the bike...

Where are you right now? you still have 3 months to reach Ushuaia.
I would travel to the tip and go all the way up at my own rhythm and avoid winter
Going to Ushuaia? Stop in Rio Gallegos and let's have a beer
