Impressive! Not just the build, but that it's got 30,000 miles on it.

I think you've got your metric confused. 210cm is six or so feet

Kinda looks like a modern Lancia Stratos-ish idea. It'd make an awesome supercar for those of us who live where there's real winter and gravel roads.

Yeah, he's pretty much been the stud of the custom car world since the late '80s. I can remember being in college, opening a Hot Rod Magazine and seeing some of his early work. I was just blown away that a guy the same age as me could be creating this stuff whilst I couldn't even weld.

That's why it's so expensive, but man it sucks in parking garages!

Ok, so perhaps it's 210 mm...

Yeah, he kinda' had a headstart on most of us, as his dad was building street rods, at the time. He adopted a lot of their style and technique, which made for a more polished result. When Matt and Debbie Hay and Rick Dobbertin were going over the top, Troy was already headed the other direction with understated quality and detail.

I keep seeing British cars and am over em, but right now I'm so broke I can't pay... Hey look! A chikken!

Otherwise, it's definitely clean.

Woo it lives!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1kqOP-H7ak

It has ran for all of about 45 seconds with the new head on it. Seems to run good, need to put the rest of the car back in (radiator, misc. belts, etc.), and find a new fan clutch and PS pump pulley (don't ask about the pulley).

Wow, blast from the past. It's been over 20 years since I pulled the head off of one of those.
