Wonderful!

I can't believe they would spend the money to have this done if they did not have the intention of selling it in the US.

I have been trying to buy a reflex for some time now. Since they are not making them anymore, everyone thinks their old reflex is worth a fortune. I am so happy that I will soon be able to buy a brand-new reflex!

This made my day!

In the article, it mentions it's an underbone design. Is that unusual for a scooter? I know the Cub/Symba is an underbone design. Still learing...

I was looking at a Reflex too for a while but thought the wheels were on the small side. Plus, Reflex owners think they command a premium price over other scooters and it's hard to find a good one cheap.

The Forza 300 has a 14" on the front and a 13" on the back which I think will work better. It has also has a bigger and more powerful engine while being better on gas mileage than a Reflex.

The Forza is made in Thailand so it shouldn't be to expensive. I am hoping Honda keeps the price below $5,500.

It's made in Thailand to make the price low for Honda, not for us.
It'll probably be the most expensive 300cc scooter out there.

If by that, they mean that the engine is mounted to the frame rather than the swingarm, then that would be a good thing. Better COG, less unsprung mass. It would be a huge plus. I don't think there are many scoots in the 300cc or less category that have frame mounted engines.

When I was looking at Maxi's, I tested a Majesty and a Silverwing. I could feel the difference in handling between the swingarm-mounted Majesty and the frame-mounted Silverwing.

Yes that would be a good thing. I think I read it is rubber mounted so at least it should be vibe free.

'The chassis consists of a steel underbone frame with a lower floating link for the engine mount to improve rigidity balance and reduce vibrations.'

...whatever that means; it is a direct quote from paragraph three. Let's keep hoping it makes it here.

New Honda scooter.

I phoned a dealer in Canada and he said yes they will be in in a couple months. I need one here in Kansas. Have a Helix I haven't ridden in 7 years but it still has 65698 miles. I think the 300 engine would be enough faster than the 250 to keep me happy. I had a 400 Burgman and it was FAST but all I really need is a top speed of around 80 mph. Any idea when they will be available here and price?

now this scooter it is worth the trouble of buying in CA and importing it to Mexico... Depending on the price.

Maybe by December I will get a chance to see it at the IMS?

Honda Canada lists the Forza 300 as a 2014 model. It may be out in the Fall here in the US or with a bit of luck during Summer. No official word yet so I am just guessing here.

Interestingly, some US dealers are already showing the Forza on their site sans price

http://www.cyclesofjacksonville.com/...lorida-1155671

I am interested to see what they will be selling for here.

Really happy to hear that the Forza may be coming to the US! I've pointed out before that Honda had a really obvious gap in their scooter offerings with nothing between 150cc to 600cc.

It will be interesting to see how this compares to the BV350 from a price/feature/ergonomic standpoint.

Also important to understand the service intervals.

If ABS is available there are those of us who love that feature and it would be a differentiator from the other 300cc class offerings out there.

Regardless, it's all speculation at this point, but I'm just happy to see that we might get another offering in middle range scooter selection. Honda has a strong dealer model, which some of the other players can't match.

This thing looks really cool.

I wonder about leg room. I have a 34" inseam and just look stupid on some scooters with my knees way up in the air.

I bet Honda would name it the Reflex in the US instead of the Forza.

Well now I'm in a holding pattern and have stopped looking for another scoot. With the Forza showing up on dealer sites I'm hoping it will be offered sooner than later. Sure would be nice if it is available before summer.

CB it will be interesting to see what they call it here. My guess is Forza, not Reflex. We'll see.
