2013 PNW Ladies Adventure Ride
July 26-28 Departing from Mustangshelly's place early Friday morning Destination unknown  Hey, it's supposed to be an adventure, right?? In keeping with the spirit of ADVENTURE RIDING we will take a scenic ride  of mixed off-road  , pavement and maaaaybe just a little challenging  off-road on our way to a camping location that is yet to be determined, stopping to smell the flowers  and take pictures along the way . Yep, a ride n' camp  ! If you can't make it to Friday morning's departure, you can meet us Friday night at the as yet undetermined camping location. No, it's not a super secret location. I just haven't figured out the details yet, as I have a few months to prepare. This will be NEW RIDER friendly, as I myself am no hard-core, ride-by-the-seat-of-your-pants kinda gal. Only requirements are that you are  , ride (or crash) motorcycles, and want to spend some time getting to know like-minded ladies.  Camping and dinner at my place on Thursday night, of course! Updates
Courier service for our supplies (tents, food, sleeping bags) will be provided, as well as a cook stove/BBQ set up for our arrival in camp.
Any favorite cold beverages  that are here at my place by Friday morning departure will also magically appear at camp in a cooler. How sweet is that??  There is a nice store in Parkdale for food if anyone needs to pick up some items before we head out Friday morning. Friday we will make our way over the hill to Tygh Valley and camp there for the night. Camping will be $7.50/person. Showers are $1.00 in quarters. There is an opportunity to go to a cool swimming hole this evening if anyone is interested, nice dual sport road and creek crossing included, as well as a bit of a steep scramble on foot to get down to the hole. PM me for details if you plan to meet us Friday night at the campground. Saturday we head to Timothy Lake via Barlow Road where we have a small group campsite reserved. This site will accommodate 18 people total. Plan on pitching in a couple of bones for camping this night as well. I am keeping my eye on the number of gals that want to go on this ride. If it looks like we will have more than 18, as the time gets closer, I will look into some alternatives for Saturday night camping. The Adventure Gals (aka the IN list) 1.
