Y'all see that stripe on the wall over Rashy's head?
That's sunshine!,,and if you wasn't there,,,,,,,,

then you frikken missed it! So sorry for yer bad luck, poor timing, missed judgement calls,,wtf ever.
It was kinda nice starting out with the horizontal rains the first nite.
All stormy and blowing, and definitely adventure like,,picnic table inside the pavilion made a pretty good bed platform in what became "the garage" ,,
that storm and the lightning show just gave something to look forward to,,,the following sunshine, and perfect days!
too bad we had more firewood than we had time to burn it,Thanks Ron!,,shoulda had our fire master on hand, but he was busy wrecking bikes, and scuffing his elbow and couldn't drive his car there to oversee the flame.
Thanks Senior Squirrel,,or "seen yer skwerl!", for the tasty goods and your effort.
Rashy!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you know! Thanks to you and Tequila Girl!,,,and Sandy!,,I love Sandy,
we need to do this more often,,or have I said that B4?
Thanks to all you FF's that showed up and made this a great place to be,,again!
And,,as OMB said,,same place, same time next year!!
I agree!

That was a damn good time. It was nice to see old friends and make new ones, and the food was spectacular! Thanks, everyone!

Some Pictures for the slackers...

My Home for the weekend. Oh, and for those that asked...http://redverz.com/

No-Po and some others snagged some great spots I missed in my dark, half-pissed, tent setup routine.

Wasp vs. Grasshopper. Wasp won.

HQ for Team Monkeybutt

Monkey...Butt Pirate?

Ships went by

Spartacus Charge!!!

Yeah, the weather sucked.

I'm bored...more bacon.

Dinner

Somebody's breakfast, not telling who

Mista and Fisherman lead the Ferry ride back to Oregon.

Martin helping the ferryman navigate.

Thanks all it was a fun weekend, my first down there. Had fast rainy ride to the campsite on Friday, but wonderful weather after that. The bacon-waffles were awesome! Had a great ride over to Astoria on Saturday after missing everybody elses departures. Gave me time to play with my GoPro, and make a few stops. may have enough riding footage for a little movie, but will take me some time to figure out my editor.

Special thanks to Road-Rash for setting this shindig up, and to all the riders who did the cooking. About all I did was hold a light for the professional cooks...oh and some dishes by fire.

Thanks to Fisherman also for showing me a great route home and some decent Greek food in Vernonia...whodathunk that? Funny how it took all 1150cc's to keep up with his 250cc and trailer. Those twisties were fun. To all you other FF's - see ya next year.

Best WetFest ever

'cause it's the first time i've ridden home without some dire bike or body problem. Roach and i had maybe the best day of riding to Oly ever, at the speed of a klr.

Thanks RR for the many painful hours of planning, and whoever for the food and drinks. Kindness like that will make me return, like a dog looking for bacon.

I only have 2 pictures as I ran out of film. Here's Roach tearing it up at the beach. I love seeing new guys show up.

Saturday 5 of us went trail riding up to a lookout north of Vista Point. I spent 5 days detailing my bike for this event, this proved to be a waist of time.
