well, there's always mercury switches and combustibles,,but that's for the James Bond types,,I will change the oil and filter, and drop the pan to look for chunks before I try to start it. It came home inna back of a truck,,Roy's truck specifically,,wish Roy coulda been there too! ROYOTA RESCUE!
Dang!,, I have never missed so heartily ,a dog that I hated so much!

Great news peterman...Happy for ya!

I've been throwing my disc lock on the Klr when I'm forced to cage-it to work and leave the thing alone out in the driveway in view of the street. I hate that lock though....cuz, when I forget it's on...and I almost always do...and start to roll the bike backwards away from the fence......

I've never had any evidence of anyone snooping around at my place, much less anything F'd with or stolen. I'm still riding the wave of protection earned by all those summer aftenoons spent on the front porch with a glass of Bushmill's and a nice Punch cigar...cleaning black rifles in plain view. (those days are unfortunately over...wouldn't want to be reported by a neighbor as a turrurrist)

Good advice about not leaving anything onboard you can't afford to lose. Or.....a fella could install some sort of REMOVABLE BOX for $31 that let's him take it with him into, say....a meeting at a bar so he KNEW the stuff wouldn't walk off. (inexpensive yet stylish )

anyway...glad your scooter's back. The other stuff's just stuff except the buddy's knife and it sucks to lose a keepsake, but...with any luck the POS'll cut hisself and get a nasty infection and they'll find him croaked with red streaks running up his arm from the point of laceration.

Excellent news!!
Glad there are good people out there, who notice something outta place & report it...especially when a bike is involved. Take that gal for a ride & a meal out!..at least!

So whoda thunk that the internet is valuable for more than porn and arguing with strangers?

Congrats on getting your scoot back!
