My 1981 RD250LC

Thought I'd share this with you guys
I've owned this bike since 1983 & been promising myself to lavish some TLC on it for years
I got someone else to do it for me and the results are brilliant .. like new
Just need some decent weather now to get out an ride it

That is very nice, I wish we could have gotten them here, I have 3 more months till I can ride mine

Classic Yamaha, they should be building a new version of these and embracing their own heritage!

I have always had a sweet spot for 2 strokes in general, especially street legal 2 strokes. I love them all too, the Suzuki GTs, Yamaha RDs, Kawasaki twins and tripps, and the yamaha RZs and RDLCs. If I ever won the lotto, after a new M3, M5 and a few other BMWs, I would spend months finding and buying cherry versions of each of the 2 stroke street bikes I love. Of course oen would have to be a like new 1979 RD400F Daytona, one of the most beautiful bikes ever produced.
