a dollar store cutting board, or even a cooking sheet under the rear tire and stand so you can slide the bike easier across the floor.

or something USA made from a second hand store or flea market for those of you who refuse to buy made in China kitchenware at the dollar store

The cheapy home built has a 1/4" thick base the bolts are countersunk and welded underneath hand nuts lower it to floor level. this makes hoisting the bike not too bad. Have since added a bar to lock centre stand so the bike can be pushed forward with-out the stand folding up
Has held up well under a tanked up GSA for years. Gotta be close to 500lbs.

Thanks for the info. I will be using a stand like this on a daily basis so it needs it to be a fairly smooth operation.

rubber mat and baby powder

3/8 thick rubber mat 18 x 18 square little baby powder below the mat . Bike on the centerstand and it will spin freely

Yeah, just don't want to do this every day. I have a very small garage and need to keep my bike and truck in it. The truck has to come out of the garage before the bike can be moved. Repeat the reverse when I come home. So the simple process wins. Thanks.
