I'd say a couple of easy days.

I did the reverse last year by a different route.

Take/figure two, but can be done in one if the construction work is finished.
Everything from the ferry crossing to the mountain roads is punch list kinda stuff.
No way to go wrong.

Sometimes it feels really good to be sore and tired at the end of the day.
Follow your instincts. Write it/ride it as it feels best...

I'd never do Tikal - Atitlan in one day.

Odessa to Topeka maybe.

It's Guatemala for Chrissake. Everybody knows how much there is to see between those two points.

Hard riding that distance in Guatemala is like watching that asshole Adam Richman race to slam 4 pounds of duck confit and gargle a bottle of '56 Château Lafite

Tikal to Coban. One day. .... a long day
Coban to Huehuetenango . One day
Huehuetenango to the lake . One day
For cushion add 2 days ( can easily use more)
to explore into the Cuchumatanes. Plus lots of other
possibilities. Do NOT make any appointments or
reservations for along the way or to meet up with
somebody. Stay free and see what you get . Promises like that
would force you to race along , skip the sights
